Gheringhap Sightings w/e 24/1/2026.
There were 83 sightings for this week, which
is 2 sightings more than last week. Making a total
of 250 sightings for this year to date. On day 24 last year
we had seen 285 sightings, this is 35 sightings less than last year.
We saw 11 sightings on the Broad Gauge which
is 1 sighting more than last week. This total included 4 x PN Grain
trains and 2 x SSR Grain train. Total B/G trains for this year are 30 (At the
same time last year we had seen 32 X B/G trains, (this is 2 sighting
less than last year.) Total B/G grain trains for this year are 15 (At the same
time last year we had seen 82 grain trains on the B/G) This
is 13 sightings less than last year.
We saw 72 sightings on the Standard Gauge which
is 1 sighting more than last week. This total included 3 x PN Grain
trains, and 0 x SSR Grain trains. Total S/G trains for this year are 220 (At
the same time last year, we had seen 253 S/G trains), this
is 33 sightings less than last year. Total S/G grain trains for this
year are 26. (At the same time last year, we had seen 40 grain
trains on the S/G). This is 14 grain sightings less than at the same time
last year.
Total grain trains for this year are 41, this
is 27 sightings less than last year.
